Better Business Bureau\u00ae serving Upstate South Carolina (BBB) awarded Carolina Heating Service<\/a> with the BBB Applause Award for meeting and exceeding advertising standards. Each quarter, BBB\u2019s Local Advertising Review Program (LARP) recognizes a business within the 10 counties of the Upstate for adhering to BBB\u2019s Code of Advertising guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe at Carolina Heating Service are honored to receive this treasured award,\u201d says Connie Caldwell, General Manager of Carolina Heating Service. \u201cThank you to the LARP committee, for selecting Carolina Heating Service for such a distinction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Implemented through a local partnership between BBB and the American Advertising Federation of Greenville SC, the LARP committee monitors advertising claims against BBB\u2019s Code of Advertising, a comprehensive set of guidelines established to help businesses plan honest and effective marketing and advertising programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The committee explained that transparency in advertising was only part of the reason that Carolina Heating Service was selected for this award. The effort put forth by the company not only to run an ethical business through customer service, but to bolster growth in the Upstate earned them the unanimous nomination for the Applause Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser,\u201d said Vee Daniel, president\/CEO, Better Business Bureau of the Upstate. \u201cConsumers and businesses should expect honesty in advertising, like that of Carolina Heating Service, and we are pleased to present them with this award.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
